About Us

SP. Muthiah & Sons is a leading distributor and wholesaler of ethnic Indian food products, dedicated to providing excellent services/products to our clients. We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Administrative Assistant to join our dynamic team. This role is crucial to ensuring smooth day-to-day operations and supporting our team with a variety of administrative tasks.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide general administrative support including data entry, filing, and handling correspondence
  • Enter and update information in spreadsheets, databases, and company systems with high accuracy
  • Maintain and organize digital and physical filing systems
  • Verify data for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with established procedures
  • Process shipping documentation including bills of lading, commercial invoices, packing lists, and certificates of origin
  • Coordinate with carriers, freight forwarders, and internal departments to ensure timely and accurate shipment delivery
  • Maintain organized records of all shipping and customs documentation

Requirements

  • Proven experience in an administrative or office support role (1–3 years preferred).
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication skills (both written and verbal).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks.
  • A proactive attitude with strong problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
